Pork with Fruit

Pork is simply one of  those meats that  go well with  just about any fruit.

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg pork, short loin
  • 2 ripe kiwis
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 4 slices of pineapple, cutted into cubes
  • 1 apple, cutted into cubes
  • 4 tbs olive oil
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • juice of 1 orange
  • 1 cup of vegetable broth
  • 1/2 cup of cream
  • salt & pepper

Procedure:

Sauté the short loins and onions in olive oil.

Douse with wine and add the orange juice to the broth.

Let the short-loins to soften a bit and combine the ginger and fruit cut in cubes.

When ready, combine the sauce with the cream.
